‘Fat Jessica Simpson’ queries have the media world delivering unflattering photos to fans hungry for images that back these accusations. At the same time, a huge wave of celebrity supporters are speaking on in Jessica Simpson’s defense including Heidi Klum, Carmen Electra, Kim Kardashian, Pete Wentz, Paula Abdul, Rose McGowan and Jessica’s sister, Ashlee Simpson-Wentz. Even Nick Lachey came out to support his ex-wife saying he hopes “she’s happy - whatever size that comes in.”

Heidi Klum’s words were similar. “I think everyone should be the way they feel comfortable. When you are in the public eye, people will always talk about you and put their opinions on you. But people need to be happy with the way they are.”

Despite the cruel words spreading across the media, Jessica Simpson continues to be a positive role model for body image. When she walked on stage in Virginia last week in leather pants so tight they could have been sprayed on, she clearly displayed she wasn’t going to let any comments affect the way she dresses.

“Thank you for your support,” she said on stage. “Stay positive, and pray out loud!”
