This new furniture by designer Jenny Walsh may make it difficult to tell which way is up. 'Creature Comfort' is the name of her new line of home decor which seems to have an antagonistic relationship with right angles.

All the pieces share similarities in their jagged corners and wavy, angular forms. The credenza is especially intriguing, not only because of the unusual angles, but also because of the challenge it poses for vases.

Implications - The recent shift in home decorating to more modern furnishings has allowed artists and designers to experiment and create imaginative pieces. Customers are attracted to items that are original and stand out, while providing practical and functional uses. The simple alteration of a basic everyday item's design can transform the product into an appealing piece of contemporary art.
