Could the tragedy that has befallen Jennifer Hudson’s family have been avoided? Trend Hunter has featured the bedside gun rack before, and now it reappears in the news as a Chicago gun store is using the Jennifer Hudson family murders to sell more of the shotgun bed racks. Jennifer Hudson’s mother, brother and 7-year-old nephew were murdered last weekend and a gun merchant exploited the tragedy to increase sales. The “Back-Up” rack fits between the mattress and the box spring on the side of the bed.  Officials with a company that manufactures shotgun racks sent out a news release Tuesday that asked, "Could a Bedside Shotgun Rack Have Saved Jennifer Hudson's Family from Tragic Death?"
Whether it is someone known or a stranger entering the home, too many people in this country are paying with their lives during these home invasions. The Hudson family is just one of far too many Americans gunned down in their own home.
