The Jason Ratliff Walking Shadow Series has the ability to brighten the darkness. The illustrations were created by Indiana-based designer Jason Ratliff. In this series 'Walking Shadow,' Ratliff transforms the dark space of shadows into colorfully bright reflections. By using a minimalist backdrop, he is able to create unexpected whimsy through the pop of color.

The delightfully playful work uses a variety of subjects ranging from musicians to animals to the elderly. Ratliff uses an abstract mosaic of color to fill the shadows to follow each of his characters. By shedding some light on the character's shadows, Ratliff livens up the otherwise traditional illustrations.

Each of the illustrations from the Jason Ratliff Walking Shadow Series are available in the form of prints, t-shirts, iPhone covers and cards. Stats for Lively Shadow Illustrations Trending: Older & Mild
