Design Scene's 'Janis Joplin' fashion story celebrates the unforgettable style of the rock and roll icon. The musician's wardrobe is synonymous with oversized and printed tunics, layered men's jackets and plenty of denim. In addition to an array of quintessential hippie fashions, the musician is also known for experimenting with quirky eyewear and hat accessories, all showcased in this editorial that features styling by fashion editor Ludovica Nanni.

Captured by photographer Stefano Moro Van Wyk, this photoshoot features model Anisia who takes on the role of a rock icon thanks to a wardrobe from labels like Marina Fossati, Topshop and Missoni among other names.

Hair and makeup for this Janis Joplin fashion story are courtesy of Giovanni Iovino and
Rocco Santamorena who recreate the rocker's carefree and natural beauty aesthetic.
