Jaime Montserrat is behind these artworks depicting animals who are noticeably unravelling. Most of these pictures include exotic animals, like penguins, zebras, bears and giraffes. These wildlife depictions add intrigue by removing pieces of these critters.
Montserrat's animals look like rapidly unravelling sweaters. One of these works features a lizard riding on the back of a giraffe, but the giraffe is missing all of it's spots. Another of these surreal pictures portrays a mischievous penguin with a bunny in its stomach.
These imaginative illustrations were apparently inspired by a dream that Jaime Montserrat had while sleeping on a plane (hence the surreal deconstruction of some of nature's finest creatures). These fantasy land animals intertwine with one another and peacefully coexist with other unravelling species in these artworks.
