Rihanna offered to help a young girl with leukemia find a bone marrow donor. Fran Drescher and Christina Applegate each created their own awareness campaigns after battling cancer themselves. Lance Armstrong came out of cancer therapy to win the Tour de France, inspiring millions of cancer-impacted people around the world.
