The 2022 Issey Miyake perfume release promises to "truly immerse you in nature." Dubbed 'A Drop d'Issey Eau de Perfum Fraîche,' the sensory experience emulates the journey of a raindrop in springtime. This inspiration is reflected both in the olfactory sensation and the aesthetic of the bottle.

Ane Ayo, who is a perfumer at Firmenich, brings about the freshness of a raindrop's pure transparency as it encounters a profusion of colorful flowers. The full-bodied floral fragrance is a poetic gesture to the power of nature. This Issey Miyake perfume for women embraces the lilac, a flower whose scent is evasive and which has to be recreated by the creative talents of a skilled perfumer. Ane Ayo enhanced the sensory experience of A Drop d'Issey Eau de Perfum Fraîche with Damask rose, almond milk, and orange blossom. The murkiness of upcycled cedarwood and vanillin offer a supportive base for the floral experience.

This Issey Miyake perfume is offered in a drop-shaped bottle, made out of 5% recycled glass. Emulating a raindrop or a magnifying glass that reveals the secrets of nature, the bottle was designed by Todd Bracher in all its elegance.
