The Isa Arfen Spring/Summer 2013 collection features a gorgeous mix of materials, textures and colors and looks that manage to be both dressed-up and dressed-down. Despite all these contrasts, each of the individual garments work beautifully together.
Some of the most standout pieces from designer Serafina Sama's label include taffeta mixed with colorful silks in bright emerald green and pink.
Sama describes that the inspiration for this collection came from contrasting elements of "the early Nineties: bold Italian eccentricity vs delicate minimalism." The balance is a beautiful one that mixes tight-fitting bandeaus with loose, voluminous coats and muted colors with bright hues. The pieces work harmoniously as entire outfits but as Sama mentions, they also make great modular building blocks for a look as well.
