Spykes, is an alcoholic beverage that features some really unique package. So unique that it’s caught the attention of certain national advocacy groups… and not in a good way. Spykes has actually been yanked from the shelves due to claims that it’s cutesy advertising is actually aimed at kids.
Anheuser-Busch has abandoned its Spykes malt beverage after pressure from advocacy groups that claimed that Spykes was being marketed to underage drinkers--what they called a "shameful ploy to market malt liquor to the Lunchables set."
