Norma Collier and Martha Stewart are the real life versions of Bree and Katherine from Desperate Housewives. In real life, Norma Collier was a partner with Martha Stewart until Martha went behind Norma’s back and stole customers. On the season premier of Desperate Housewives, Bree was claiming all the glory for a catering business made successful by Katherine.

Norma Collier confronted Stewart, who then responded by dumping Norman Collier’s belongings in the rainy street. On Desperate Housewives, Katherine humiliated Bree with a disastrous dessert on a cooking show, one just like Martha Stewart might host.
