Canon's 'Irista' Cloud Vault Service is Targeted Towards Photographers

Irista is a cloud vault service set up by Canon that is targeted towards photographers. This photo-centric cloud service includes generous free storage, handy social networking tools as well as a variety of features that makes it a breeze to store, organize and find photos.

Irista offers an uncomplicated interface which incorporates a search index, making it easy to locate images and albums. Users can sort and filter based on parameters such as dates, locations as well as custom tags.

Each photo can be accompanied by details such as camera and lens settings. Images can be uploaded via a desktop uploader opr web client, and can even be imported from supported social networks.

Irista offers 10 GB of free storage. Users can opt for 50 GB storage at €4.99 a month or €49 a year, or 100 GB for €10.99 a nth or €109 a year. Paid storage options are currently not available outside Europe.
