As part of its innovation and service-based revamp, Panera Bread is now offering internet terminals at each table in its restaurants. Although Panera Bread already offers free WiFi, the new move represents a greater effort to keep consumers connected while they are in the restaurant.

The 'MiSeat' is an internet terminal and touchscreen system that is integrated directly into the table. The system consists of a keyboard, cursor control and a wireless smartphone charger that customers can use to juice up their devices while dining. This is not only convenient for consumers, but it also enables them to place an order from anywhere in the restaurant and have it delivered directly to their table.

In addition to the restaurant's new kiosk ordering system, the internet-connected terminal tables help to increase connectivity and improve the overall in-store experience.
