Japanese Toy Konapun Lets You Prepare and Cook Miniature Food

Konapun is a popular Japanese toy by Bandai. It's so much fun, even adults are captivated with this interactive play food. The product comes complete with different sets of tiny kitchen utensils and various powders.

Aspiring cooks reconstitute the powders with water and let the food "cook" or set. The result is food that looks like the real thing and is prepared just the same. Cooked "rice" can be molded into sushi and omelets folded over in the pan. Even doughnuts can be created; however, the "food" is inedible and made of a seaweed material that spoils just like real food. Stats for Interactive Play Food Trending: Older & Average
