Google Earth for iPhone|
Google has just announced the release of Google Earth application for the iPhone and iPod Touch. It brings all the power of the desktop version of Google Earth to the palm of your hand. With the possibility to browse global satellite imagery and 3D terrain, view over 8 million photos or read Wikipedia articles, this application is by far the iPhone’s most useful. The sexiest thing is that when you tilt the iPhone, you smoothly tip the view from vertical down, to a side elevation, allowing you to see the 3D view of the location. Google Earth exploits the iPhone’s GPS to provide you with your current location, but you can also explore different areas on earth, making it more than a handy tool to find out information relative to your location. The application is a free download from the App Store. Source: phobos.apple Via: macrumors |
