This is eco-application at it’s finest. The glowing socket is a design for something we use everyday but, rarely give any thought to. The socket works like a regular one except it has a built in electricity meter that shows the amount of power being used. The more power traveling through the socket, the brighter the socket glows red. Awesome! Designed by Shane Ellis and Terry Brown.  This socket comes with a hidden LED which will light up the whole panel when the current is drawing. The more the current is, the brighter the light glows. If you don’t need this kind of indicator, just touch the button on the right top of this socket. It won’t be lit up unless you turn on it again.
