Innovative Clothing Fasteners

[Edit]
The ButtonFly Zipper|
Russian designer, Mikhail Stawsky has come up with a new type of clothing fastener, the ButtonFly Zipper. There hasn’t been anything new in the way of fasteners for decades and even centuries. The velcro for instance was developed during the Second World War and the zipper the century before. His unusual fastener is a series of interlocking flaps which is reminiscent of a zipper. The way the fastener works also reminds one of slipping a button through its hole. The dress doesn’t look at all secure but the idea could well be used effectively in some designs like the boots shown. Via: yankodesign |
