Inge Jacobsen, a photographer and student at Kingston University, has created a wonderfully hand-stiched series called Thread.

The Thread series that Jacobsen came up with was definitely both unique and brilliant. The series features advertisements from fashion magazines such as Harper's Bazaar and Vogue. The artist then stitches over top of the models' faces, hair and body. Inge Jacobsen has said in regards to the concept that, "I stitch over the hair and skin, mainly in protest of the bland looking models and images that come with the magazine.'

Inge Jacobsen's Thread series shows a great amount of patience and the results are stunning. Jacobsen has proved to be more than worthy of the title artist as the work is flawless and intricately executed. Stats for Hand-Stitched Spreads Trending: Older & Chilly
