Patrick King's 'Imperial Saints' Shows Stormtroopers in a New Light

Religion and Star Wars collide in Patrick King’s wonderfully creative ‘Imperial Saints.’ ‘Imperial Saints’ is a series of drawings depicting the nameless and faceless soldiers of the evil empire in holy form. The series positions Stormtroopers as disciples, with artwork mimicking stained glass windows that you would see in a catholic church or chapel.

‘Imperial Saints’ may be deemed sacrilegious by some, but to me the series seems to be all in good fun. After all, the fan art is a big part of what makes Star Wars so great. Check out the entire series, along with other saintly innovations here.
