This Ice Bucket Challenge costume tutorial by Refinery29 is incredibly simple and fun!

The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge was a widely sanctioned, celebrity endorsed social media craze that raised awareness for Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), otherwise known as Lou Gehrig's disease. Everyone from Katy Perry to Matt Damon participated, dumping a bucket of water over their heads (and donating) for a good cause!

Though the ice bucket challenge has only recently settled down, it's not too early to revisit it with this awesome DIY costume. The tutorial instructs you to use lots of eyeliner and non-waterproof mascara, which will run down your face when squirted with saline solution. To keep your hair looking wet all night long, apply an oil cream to freshly showered locks. Finally, finish things off with an DIY ice tray necklace!
