During the Christmas holidays I was in Naples. I was impressed by the installation of a big "i like" on the front of City Hall.
I found information online about this project by the italian-based artist IABO:

"The installation "I like Naples" designed by the italian artist IABO, for the open-air exhibition Luminaria 03 curated by Simona Perchiazzi, consists in a PVC light panel (200x270x15cm) depicting the famous icon "I like" used by Facebook, one of the most popular social networks. The work "I Like Naples" was installed on the front of San Giacomo Palace (Piazza del Municipio - Naples). IABO plays with an immaterial sign carrying it from virtual to the real world.
The strength of this action is to be found in the transition of the insubstantial symbol "I like", composed of pixels, from the Internet artificial world to the physical existence.
"I Like Naples" is a positive sign for the future of Naples and encourage a constructive metamorphosis of the city."
