StopGlobalWarming.org has formed a partnership with Swiss aluminum water bottle maker Sigg to produce this custom bottle, to let you do your part to reduce plastic water bottles and spread the word. With 2.5 MILLION(!!) plastic water bottles being thrown away every hour in the United States, StopGlobalWarming.org is proud to partner with SIGG to create a re-usable water bottle so we can all do our part and ditch the plastic!
The Stop Global Warming Virtual March is a non-partisan effort to bring citizens together to declare that global warming is here now and that it is time to demand solutions. Global Warming is the most urgent issue of our time, and the necessary first step to combat this problem is to encourage all Americans to take action! This online grassroots movement is about change-as individuals, as a country and as a global community. | Two things: 1st - I have seen some bottles like this already and they have a funky texture which feels like nails on a chalkboard to me and make the water taste a little metallic...but if it was more like an aluminum can that would be cool. But aren't aluminum cans coated with harmful coatings/chemicals? 2nd - Aren't they saying now that cooking with aluminum pans aren't good for you? SO... shouldn't we just go back to glass that doesn't have to be coated and can be sterilized with plain old water? |
