Honda Motors revealed their humanoid new and improved robot, Asimo at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Nevada. It's human like movements are uncanny. It can now run at 4 mph, kick a ball, and climb up and down the stairs as seen in the attached video. The 51 inch tall robot has enhanced human interaction and can now perform demands by people more effectively. With the IC Tele-interaction Communication Card Asimo can recognize the location and identity of a person, regardless of where the person stands in a 360-degree range from Asimo. Honda will continue to develop Asimo with the hopes of one day being able to create a robot that is capable of assisting those who lack full mobility, work in environments that are dangerous for humans, oh and to take over the world.
