Katie Gallagher is a designer whose work is an encounter between art and fashion. She explores the possibilities of cutting-edge ideas with this imaginative photo set. The nude spandex material used throughout this ensemble creates an illusion of a human body transforming into that of a mannequin.

Katie Gallagher’s photo set also demonstrates the distressing designer obsession with painfully thin bodies. Although she models most of her designs, showing off her own ultra-petite figure, for this set she chose lookalike models. Is this choice meant to shock the viewer, or is it just an eccentric artistic expression?
