Trend Hunter has covered a few different angles related to the ‘Stand Up for Cancer’ campaign.  One of the more recent breakthroughs was that the event was simulcast on all three US networks.  Hence, we have one of the first examples of network cooperation.

Stand Up for Cancer was a star-laden special event to raise money and awareness for cancer.

Breast cancer has generated the most interest because of famous starlets who have been impacted. The gallery shows other familiar faces that were victims of breast cancer and other forms of Cancer. 

Cancer research funding by the U.S. Government has been cut for the past five years, so rather than sit around, this benefit was launched. The theme is “This Is Where The End Of Cancer Begins.”
