I had heard about the international SHI Symbol that helps singles easily work out who is or isn’t single.

I have a heterosexual symbol and by wearing it, I get noticed—in a good way—so it certainly helps make it easier to start a conversation with someone once you know the other person is single. As Kimberly Dawn Neumann, the famous author and Broadway star, says about the SHI Symbol, “it takes the guesswork out of the equation”.

It can work for me, and I’m heterosexual and it always seems that the Gay and Lesbian community pickup the latest trends and fashion news way before us - so I bet once they know about it, the SHI Symbols for Gays and Lesbians will be spread like wildfire.
