Fans of the 'Game of Thrones' book and television series will be clamoring to get their hands on the Houses of Westeros poster. Unfortunately for them, the limited edition poster has already been sold out. But the visualization of the family sigils so thoroughly described by George R. R. Martin is a treat nonetheless.
Nike Brand designer Darrin Crescenzi breathed life into the vision set out by the celebrated author, creating a unified visual language for obsessed individuals such as himself to enjoy. Crescenzi notes, "The sigils really do act as branding, in that they give each character formal distinctions," giving "a vague indications to the values and psychology of the wearer." The Houses of Westeros poster captures this and more in a clean and contemporary interpretations of these significant sigils.
