These Boozy Drinks Take Inspiration from Horror Film Bad Guys

With October comes the release of dozens of scary movies and these horror film bad guy cocktails by Mashable pay tribute to some of the most notorious villains in cinematic history. These recipes transform the famous spooky characters into boozy beverages that can be enjoyed next time you curl up to watch a scary film.

The cocktail recipes pay homage to well-known villains such as Jason Voorhees, Freddy Kruegar and Michael Myers famous for their killing rampages, creepy aesthetic and overall terrorizing personalities. Each drink comes with a play on words name and ingredients that complement the bad guy's character while still tasting great. For example, the Freddy Kruger cocktail is called the Elm Street Old-Fashioned and is made with Angostura bitters, apple cider, bourbon and garnished with four chilli peppers representing bloody claws.
