LinkedAge is a home swapping site that's designed specifically for seniors, enabling them to trade retirement properties and set off around the world. Arranging travel and accommodations can be a challenge with age, not to mention it's a nerve-wracking experience for those who set out on their own, for perhaps what is the first time in their lives.

A visit to LinkedAge's website reveals a simple setup that's like Airbnb, where travelers are able to see what properties are available by location and date. Jozica Kucera is a 77-year-old from Slovenia who traded her retirement room in Topolsica with another LinkedAge user who lives in a comparable facility in Barcelona. Since the facilities already cater to senior citizens, there's no need to fret about what to expect upon arrival.
