Touchpad Home Spa - Tris Shower Cabin

The Tris Shower Cabin, from Ideal Standard, offers three spa-style treatments in the space of a normal bathtub. The first, a sauna, is controlled via a touch pad, allowing you to control the time and temperature. It includes an electric stove filled with lava rocks, onto which you occasionally sprinkle water to help regulate the humidity.

The second feature, a shower, is no ordinary shower. The cabin has eleven shower nozzles installed in the ceiling that can be set for “rain” or “mist”, six body jets for the hydro-massage setting, and a hand-held spray head. Also incorporated into one wall of the cabin is a fold-down wooden seat.

The third feature is a steam bath. This option uses the sauna’s stove to thermostatically control the temperature, and includes a steam head into which you can pour your favorite aromatherapy scents.  And when you’re finished with any of the above features, the Tris has an automatic drying cycle to prolong the life of the unit. 

This unit would definitely fit the bill for anyone who wants to experience these luxury features in the privacy of their own home, but may not have the room (or budget) to build a dedicated spa room.
