Everyone is trying to benefit from the success of YouTube and the impact it has on today’s society. GodTube is one of those sites.
Calling itself a video social networking community for Christians, GodTube also has a similar website. Now giving the Sunday school students a reason to be surfing the web, you can find pretty much everything to do with the church on their site, from songs to extremist opinions to young kids rocking out in the church choir.
Just like its unrighteous brethren, GodTube is finding itself playing a big part in today’s social society. It is receiving 2.5 million views a month and has 250,000 registered members.
With A solid Christian viewership and strong moral Christian beliefs in some states, the site is finding itself an important player in the upcoming American election. Similar to YouTube, it is aiding the candidates to get their message out via viral videos or postings of rallies. God Tube is bridging the gap between technology and religion helping candidates connect with religious voters.
