The era of perfect beauty ends to enhance authentic beauty, even for celebrities. Forget overdone make up look, the new movement is about real and untouched faces. The proof with a big step : the last Hollywood Issue 2014 by Vanity Fair.

Famous photographer Chuck Close, known to be one of the main representants of the hyper-realist movement and specialist of raw portraits, captured 20 Hollywood stars with no make-up. He asked to Oprah Winfrey, Scarlett Johansson, Brad Pitt, Kate Winslet and others great actors to come natural looking and without hair styling or make up team.

The result is amazing and dazzling in all its realism. It’s a first, which takes the opposite view of what defines Hollywood celebrities: a glamorous ideal. This shift illustrates the power of a new natural aesthetic, where the artificial is not welcome anymore.
