 Geoffrey Edelsten & Brynne Gordon Create a Star-Studded Invitation Published: Nov 10, 09 Views: 1,255 In the newest chapter in the storybook romance that captivated Australia, Geoffrey Edelsten and Brynne Gordon have unveiled their star-studded outlandish wedding invitation video. Footage of the unusual DVD invitation the pair sent to guests for their wedding spectacular was shown on Australian Channel 7’s Today Tonight on November 9th. Geoffrey Edelsten clearly spared no expense producing the unusual 15 minute video wedding invitation to what is expected to be the biggest event ever hosted at Crown’s Palladium ballroom in Melbourne. The central plot of the DVD is dirt poor girl meets millionaire mogul in a rag to riches story sure to touch everyone’s heart. Directed by Hollywood’ Garry Marshall (responsible for the hit “Pretty Woman”), it features Seinfeld’s Jason Alexander and The Nanny’s Fran Drescher narrating the film while the couple act out how they met. Then other celebrities including Dr Phil, Strauchanie, Chris Judd and Megan Gale, round out the film by sending their best wishes to the couple. Drescher appears at the end with her dog, Queen Esther, to formally invite guests to the wedding.  “I thought it was fun,” said Edelsten of the DVD invite, which he says was not supposed to be made public. “Our relationship followed many of the paths of the movie Pretty Woman ... I said wouldn’t it be a good idea if we did something similar to that as a special invitation.”
When asked whether he was surprised fiance Brynne Gordon (40 years his junior at 26) is ‘attracted to him’, Edelsten said he ‘is not surprised at all.’
