Airbnb is launching the 'Hollywood and Vines' project on Twitter, asking social media users to send in short six second Vines. This project aims to put together an entire short film that was directed on Twitter and shot on Vine.
The project launched on August 22, with instructions periodically being released on the Airbnb Twitter page. Users have a 48 hour period to create a six second Vine after the tweet was sent out. There are several categories that the quality of the short Vine clip will be judged on.
When a participant's Vine is selected, they will receive a $100 Airbnb coupon and a feature on the Sundance Channel, which is great exposure even if clips are only six seconds in length.
