Octavio Ocampo is a Mexican surrealist with an extraordinary skill. His metaphorical pictures incorporate superimposed images in the paintings he creates.

The viewer has to look hard to appreciate the subtle additions he has made to his art. Faces are formed from flowers, birds and even a butterfly. Portraits reveal other figures or even animals as in the Mona Lisa recreation. Each work therefore has hidden art within.

Ocampo is a graduate of the renowned San Carlos art school in Mexico (now a museum). The artwork is for sale at the Visions Fine Art Gallery.
