To celebrate the forthcoming Valentine's Day, the Hello Kitty x Hooters marketing collaboration is in full effect in and around Tokyo. The mash-up of (arguably) America's greatest export and Japan's beloved cartoon is first of hopefully many more intriguing marketing ploys.
Trying to get a Valentine's Day reservation at a swanky cosmopolitan restaurant can be a tedious task, but if you fancy scantily-clad women and mountains of ice cream, then booking a trip to Tokyo should be top priority. The Hello Kitty x Hooters collaboration is a chance to expand both brands to different audiences, but also to unveil some delicious new menu items.
Exclusive to the Tokyo restaurant, Hooters will offer romantic diners a choice of either the 'Rock of Love' ($10) or the 'Volcano of Love' ($30); mammoth dessert options containing ice cream, chcolate syrup, wafers, fruits and whipped cream.
