I love this Heinz campaign which shows personified food items being held at an asylum. Why? Because they are not getting Heinz Baked Beans.
The print ads show an out-of-control sausage strapped to the hospital bed, and a fried egg helplessly huddled in the corner of a padded room.
My favorite, however, is a poor slice of toast in a straight jacket with his head down.
Give the poor creatures the damn baked beans! Wait, they are not real creatures, this is just an ad campaign. Well, it worked on me!
The campaign’s tagline is, “There’s only one cure.”
The ads were created by Tan Advertising with art director Louise Besseling, and copywriter David Chien.
