OK, we get that Elvis merchandise is still hot, but Keith Ledger action figure? Yes, with the family’s blessing, Ledger as The Joker in The Dark Knight, will be marketed by Mattel. Two versions of the doll will be on the shelves. One with a rocket launcher and one with a knife. Ledger died from and OD of Rx meds.

in all fairness, all action movies like batman and superman make action figures of the main charachters. and the Joker is the main villan, so it would be strange not to have his charachter toy. I do not think they are exploiting the actor's death at all. the toy would be produced even if he is alive
