Chef Dominique Ansel might be most well-known for his creation of the Cronut donut croissant hybrid several years back, but the creative has released a collection of pasries that capture the Millennial age of texting with a heart-eyes emoji decorative design. The pastries are melonpan buns are creatively designed to look like the popular smiling emoji that has hearts for eyes using colored crust and sugar decorations.

Melopan is a Mexican concha dessert that offers eaters a sweet take on a bun made from cookie dough. The ones created by Ansel's Japanese team are creatively shaped like circles with an added smile and two hearts for eyes to capture the aesthetic of the popular emoji used to convey sentiments of love and affection. The bun even comes with a delicate dusting of pink sugar along the bun's cheeks to convey blushing.
