In line with Apple's iOS 9 updates, the HealthKit app will be undergoing a female-friendly makeover.

Introduced last year, the HealthKit app is a lifestyle platform focused on fitness and other attributes of health. Upon its very first release, this innovative app could track weight, number of steps taken, blood glucose levels as well as a variety of other human body metrics. With Apple launching a brand new update, the HealthKit app has been made over to include a menstrual cycle tracker. Announced at Apple's Worldwide Developer's Conference, the "Reproductive Health" tracker will include a chart that can track frequency and flow.

Other iOS 9 updates include longer batter life and an improved Siri feature.
