On a recent trip to Reykjavik for the Iceland Airwaves music festival, WGSN’s Youth/Junior team picked up on the trend for elaborate headpieces - decorated mini hats attached to hairbands - which were key for club and partywear.

Circular mini hats are attached to hairbands and worn to the side at a jaunty angle.
Materials include gathered lace or leather, decorated with everything from feathers to pearls and bows.
Classic 80s satin bow designs are oversized for effect.
A glamorous, dressed-up look for party and clubwear, which ties in with the 80s vibe that prevailed at the festival.
