A head wrapped Keshia Asiedu poses for Architectural Digest Russia this month, featured in beautiful designer textiles. Mounted on her cranium are ornate, printed fabrics assembled by Natalia Obukhov, which are photographed by Olga Volkova to resemble an exquisite giraffe from a poem by ENU.

On the head of the model are billowy styles of yellow cloth Callas, silk in rainforest patterns, cotton, flax, Sanderson, viscose and more. Set against the backdrop of more textiles, the head wraps nearly camouflage into the rest of the picture.

In fact, the backdrops almost perform as an extension of the head wraps, making them appear larger than they are. Each head wrap and backdrop is color coordinated and while each wrap looks intricate and complicated to reproduce, you can certainly adapt your own flair.
