Havaianas is a brand that keeps intriguing me thanks to their non-conventional promotions and PR activities.
Since 1993 the brand has kept surprising the public by proposing trendy and cool flip flops, converting them into one of the major global sales hits and one of the most recognized brands for flip-flops (I prefer to ignore Crocs past summer.)
A pair of exclusive flip flops are often sent to Oscar nominees, as well as key global opinion leaders.
The latest product from the company is a limited edition doormat with a pair of exclusive Havaianas. It's not a metaphor; literally, it is a pair of Havaianas embedded into a colourful doormat. I guess the idea behind it is that you can just pop out from your house, sticking your flip-flops on when you pass by the door. The only thing is that your neighbours must love the idea as much as you do so you can finally end by looking at two empty holes.
