Dumbledore is Gay - Harry Potter Taps Into New Markets; Controversy Ensues (VIDEO)

JK Rowling recently revealed that Dumbledore is gay. The news about the character has officially entered Harry Potter into the “Pink Market.”

The issue has already been given a lot of controversial coverage and debate, mostly because the majority of Harry Potter fans are children.

The revelation came while answering questions on an NYC book tour recently. One attendee asked if Dumbledore would find “true love” to which Rowling replied, “Dumbledore is gay.”

She said he was enamored by his rival, Gellert Grindelwald which was his “great tragedy,” that left Dumbeldore feeling “horribly, terribly let down.” The entire audience was excited by the news, and began cheering at her announcement.

“I would have told you earlier if I knew it would make you so happy,” she said. “Falling in love can blind us to an extent.”
