The choices of color, structure and material are significant and deliberate considerations for a designing retail display, so the consumer can gather a great deal about brands like Harlem Kruiden Liqueur just by looking at it. Together, Studio B and RSS Manufacturing teamed up to devise and build shelving units for liquor stores, ideal for selling this brand of alcohol with a strong identity.

With men as the primary drinkers of the Dutch herbal beverage, the designers stuck with dark hues and bold graphics, as well as metal materials for an industrial edge. Strength is expressed through this composition for an ultra-masculine image and the sense that this drink is most certainly robust in its flavor. The secrecy of the ingredients of Harlem Kruiden is also suggested through this use of blacks and grays.
