Pin-up girls meet vintage mixed-media influences in Hanneke Treffers’s masterful artwork. Better known as Handiedan, her work refects a love of everything retro, harking back to eras that were glamorous and exotic.

Based in Amsterdam, Hanneke Treffers graduateed at the Academy for Fine Arts, St. Joost Breda, in The Netherlands. Using everything from antiquated sheet music to rusty metal, her “mixed media artworks are a delicate cut and paste mixture wrapped in contemporary antiquity,” according to her website.
