The Haider Ackermann Fall 2014 Collection loosens its shackles on its signature highly constructed clothing for the first time. Instead, the season favors an envelope of newfound cozy comfort, flooding with gorgeous clothing from matching pant and top coat sets in heather gray flannel wool to a new take on signature leather jackets with python and wool inserts.

Ackermann mines the world of sport to bring a new louche attitude to the clothes; sweatshirts come trimmed in fur, tweed jackets sprout fox hair hoods, while slouchy gray ribbed trousers could be the best track pant adaptation seen so far.

Though the wardrobe is relaxed, it's doesn't black in sophistication by any means. In addition, it's wonderful to see the designer's humble exactitude in the most precise cuts and excellence of craftsmanship.
