Shanghai's The Place -- a dessert shop known for its tasty ice cream selection -- opened a Haagen-Dazs and My Little Pony pop-up last summer which aimed to give visitors an experience to remember. T

he family-friendly popup named My Little Pony Friendship Magic Shop was opened for two days last August and invited families to indulge in a variety of themed treats while getting the chance to participate in activity stations and take fun selfies with character-inspired sculpture props

A fan favorite among kids since the 90s, My Little Pony continues to resonate with Gen-Z consumers today whose parents' love of nostalgia is responsible for the iconic toy's longevity. The Place's Haagen-Dazs and My Little Pony pop-up celebrated the toy's ongoing icon status while encouraging both parents and kids to make new friends at the same time.
