For a season that precludes cold and dark weather, things are lightening up with the Gucci Fall 2014 Collection. If there's one collection that screams Italian mod, it's this one; filled with stunning aviator glasses with rounded edges and clear lenses, fuzzy lavender coats and blush pink, sleeveless button-up dresses.

The collection is definitely in favor of pastels, similar to other collections of the season like Armani, but there are differences to be noted, specifically in the designs. Tops, jackets and long coats are adorned with large silver buttons and accentuated seams. Pockets are emphasized with buttoned flaps and waists are cinched with rectangular belt buckles.

It's definitely taking inspiration from the 60s mixed with fine Italian craftsmanship and style. Moreover, it could easily be inspired by a scene from an Antonioni film.
