Labeled as “fair trade undies for nice people,” GreenKnickers produces women’s panties and men’s boxers from hemp, bamboo and fair trade/organic cotton. In addition to their wearable underwear, the eco-fashion designers-for-a-cause also offer special skivvies for cyclists made from bamboo, (thanks to its soft, breathable, antibacterial nature).

The team behind GreenKnickers, Sarah Lucy Smith (eco designer) and Rose Cleary-Southwood (fashion merchandiser), obviously have a sense of humor as evidenced by their YouTube “flicks.” They started the line to prove that “ethical choices can be funny, beautiful and sexy” and felt that the logical place to start would be knickers.
